Bookings Terms & Conditions

Accommodation Mackay

Booking accommodation Mackay at The Shores Holiday Apartments.  Please note the following terms, conditions and cancellations apply.

Bookings:

Excluding Christmas/New Year, Easter, Long Term (14 + nights) & Group Bookings

To confirm the booking a non refundable deposit of $150.00 paid via credit card will apply. The balance of accommodation is payable on arrival. If a guest cancels 48 hours or less before the arrival date, a cancellation fee applies. This fee equals the total price of the booking. Likewise, if the guest fails to arrive the total price of the booking will apply.

Christmas Bookings:

(Between 23rd December & 30th December inclusive. Minimum 7 nights) 
On receipt of the booking a non refundable deposit of $300.00 will apply. The deposit is via the credit card 
number provided to confirm the booking. The balance of accommodation is payable on the 1st 
December, or on arrival. Whichever occurs first. Cancellations after the 1st December incur 
a fee equal to the total price of the booking. Deposits are not transferable to alternative dates.

New Year Bookings:

(Between 30th December & 1st January inclusive. Minimum 3 nights) 
On receipt of the booking, a deposit of $300.00 is charged to the credit card 
number provided to confirm the booking. This is non refundable. The balance of accommodation is payable on arrival. Nevertheless, changes to the booking may be permitted subject to the Managers’ approval. Deposits are not transferable to alternative dates.

Easter Bookings:

(Minimum 4 nights)
On receipt of the booking, a deposit of $300.00 is charged to the credit card
number provided to confirm the booking. This is non refundable. The balance of accommodation is payable on arrival. Changes to the booking may be permitted subject to the Managers’ approval. Cancellations made within 14 days
of the arrival date will incur a cancellation fee. Moreover this fee equals the total cost of the accommodation booked. 

Long Term Bookings (14 or more nights) & Group Bookings:

A credit card number must be provided at the time of booking. A non refundable deposit of $300.00 for each unit booked will be processed against the credit card. This will confirm the booking. However, changes to the booking may be permitted subject to the Managers’ approval. For long term stays accommodation is payable every 7 days. For Group Bookings the balance is payable on arrival. Payment can be by credit card, Company account, or direct deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival date will incur a cancellation. This fee is equal to the total cost of the accommodation booked. 

Covid-19 Impacts:

If you need to change your booking to another date due to Covid-19 restrictions we will gladly change your dates for free. Please contact us directly for assistance with Covid-19 related booking changes.

Group Unit Numbers:

If you are part of a group and wish to stay in units close to each other, please tell us on booking. Click to see our Property Layout and the location of the units required. But don’t forget to let us know so we can try to accommodate requests as much as possible. 

Late Check Ins & Late Check Outs:

If planning to arrive after 5.30 pm please contact us by phone on the day to receive after hours instructions. Departure time is 10.00 am. If guests want to check out after 10am they need permission from Management. Please ask at reception the day before departure.

No Smoking Policy:

For the comfort of our guests all units are non-smoking. This includes the doorways into units. We reserve the right to apply a $250.00 surcharge to guests who smoke in units or doorways.
